Hainan Airlines restarts Shanghai-Brussels flights
China’s Hainan Airlines has resumed direct Brussels flights from Shanghai Pudong.
The flight touched down in Brussels and was welcomed by a traditional lion dance performance.
“The resumption of these Brussels flights by Hainan Airlines is a significant milestone that will further strengthen the economic and cultural ties between Belgium and China,” said Arnaud Feist, CEO of Brussels Airport.
Hainan Airlines now connects Brussels Airport with the three largest cities in China.
The Brussels to Shanghai route will operate four flights per week.
Bookings can be made via the website, app, WeChat official account, and mini program.
Hainan Airlines now offers double daily flights between Belgium and China.
Additionally, China unilaterally announced visa-free policies for nationals of 13 countries, including 12 European nations.
Overall, Hainan Airlines operates 43 international and regional passenger routes from Chinese cities including Beijing, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Haikou, Chongqing, Xi’an, Changsha, Taiyuan, Dalian, and Guangzhou.
