Hawaii rolling out inter-island vaccine passport next month
Hawaii Gov. David Ige announced the first phase of Hawaii’s vaccine passpot program will launch next month. Starting May 11, fully vaccinated people will be able travel inter-island without quarantine or testing.
They need to register on the Safe Travels portal and then can upload a vaccination card. The website will be ready to accept data on 7 May for travel beginning 11 May or later. It is hoped it will be updated in the near future to verify out-of-state travellers coming from the mainland.
