Hipmunk launches affiliate partner program
Travel search site Hipmunk has launched an online affiliate partnership for travel companies named Hipmunk Partner Nutwork (HPNut).
It enables travel sites to monetize traffic and offer customers access millions of flight, hotel, vacation packages and car rental results.
The company says it requires a minimal setup and can be integrated on any platform.
"We know that people plan travel across a variety of sites as they explore and research. Our partners such as Yahoo Travel and Yelp have seen tremendous success by integrating Hipmunk into their experience," said Adam Goldstein, Hipmunk CEO and co-founder.
The San Francisco startup was established by Goldstein and Reddit co-founder Steve Huffman and raised about $40 million from angel investors.
Hipmunk also named Anna Torraca as vice president of the new HPNut business unit, who has previously held management roles handling partner relationships for Hipmunk.
"We’re excited to have Anna lead this effort and grow our partner offering," Goldstein said.
