Holland America launches major agent campaign
Holland America Line says it is launching a major campaign with increased group amenities, promotional programs and more group pricing to help travel agents book more cruises in 2005.
“For 2005, we have more significant changes to better reward agents who book groups under our new Group Program,” said Richard Meadows, senior vice president, marketing and sales.
He added:
“These group bookings will receive the best prices, preferred stateroom accommodations, enhanced GAP points and other amenities.”
The new GAP point menu includes more onboard amenities than ever, as well as new flexibility, he said.
The 2005 GAP menu adds amenities such as dinner in the Pinnacle Grill, 30-minute massages in the Greenhouse Spa, monogrammed bathrobes, wine packages and Half Moon Cay beach equipment for group clients.
Current and continuing GAP benefits include a private cocktail party and tours.
Agents can use their GAP points to maximize their marketing co-op funds with Holland America.
Holland America says its is the only major cruise line that does not require a deposit from groups booking less than 50 cabins
