Following a comprehensive S$45 million makeover, Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore has been officially unveiled as Shangri-La International Hotel Management’s latest conversion from the old Traders Hotel portfolio to the Hotel Jen Brand.
The 565-room hotel, set over 18 floors, features traditional Singaporean themes in rooms depicting orchids, bicycles, goldfish and traditional shophouse decor, and each come with free Wi-Fi and USB charger outlets.
Executive suites also feature a pull-out sofa bed and a small pantry.
Leisure amenities include a health club and spa, 24-hour gym and outdoor swimming pool.
The company said it has focused on a more ‘modern, functional design concept’ with flexible meeting rooms which can accommodate up to 300 people, and a spacious 17th floor Club Lounge.
"I love the energy at the new hotel. Our hotel offers a lot of value for travellers who appreciate the ingenious details done well," said Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore’s general manager, Clifford Weiner.
"As well as offering travellers greater flexibility to blend the boundaries between business and leisure, Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore is pioneering in their support of small and local businesses – as well as showcasing upcoming brands from the local F&B scene."
To mark the hotel’s relaunch, Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore is offering an introductory offer of S$299 per night including a host of Club Lounge benefits.
A minimum stay of three nights is required and the offer is valid for stays until February 29, 2016.
