Hotel website looks for franchise partners

Saturday, 15 Jun, 2011 0

Anyone with a passion for travel is being invited to bid for a franchise opportunity with a hotel booking website.

Hotels.tv is now offering franchises for cities and destinations worldwide for between £10,000 and £20,000.

It says franchisees can earn generous commissions from bookings, video sales and ad sales.

Hotels.tv is the latest creation of entrepreneurial couple Harrison and Cheryl Brown.

Their former venture, hotels-london.co.uk, was sold to TUI-owned Laterooms in 2008.

They then launched hotels.tv, a booking agent business complimented by independent hotel video reviews.

Successful franchisees will be responsible for selecting and recruiting hotels and liaising with owners of accommodation in their selected destination.

“They will also be able to offer hotels a presenter-led or guest review video which will not only be used on the Hotels.tv site, but can also be used as part of the hotels own marketing strategy,” said Harrison Brown.

Franchisees will be fully trained in all aspects of the business, including use of the online booking system, recruiting hotels and on and offline marketing.

They will also benefit from full training and support, worldwide brand marketing, search engine optimisation and social marketing campaigns.

“The network of franchisees is central to the success of the business as each franchisee provides another marketing arm to help promote the brand globally,” added Brown.

“Franchisees can work together and share commissions, expanding their bookings around the world.”

Many high profile city destinations are still available including Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Liverpool and Glasgow. London will become available in September.

In Europe, franchisees can bid for cities including Paris, Barcelona, Amsterdam, and Rome while further afield the company is offering franchises for New York, Miami, Sao Paulo, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
