Ibis Hotels rolls out new meeting room concept

Saturday, 16 Mar, 2016 0

Budget hotel chain ibis Hotels has launched a new meetings room and office concept at 20 of its hotels.

Called SPACE by ibis, guests can rent rooms for a few hours or a whole day, with no hidden charges and no kick-out time.

Rates include unlimited tea and Nespresso, WIFI, and AV support, from setting up Skype calls to in-built projector screens.

Some rooms have bean bags, pool tables and table football for breakout sessions or a little downtime.

The day delegate package also includes a selection of filled artisan breads or salads, and can be upgraded to a hot lunch on request.

Hirers can choose to have food delivered to their meeting room on an airline trolley, or head down to the restaurant for a change of scenery.

Morning and afternoon snacks are also available including smoothies by ProJuice, and muffins and cookies by Spunkmeyer.

"The UK workspace is changing and our flexible office and meeting room spaces offer an ideal place to conduct business," said James Wheatcroft, marketing director, budget and economy brands UK & Ireland.

Daily delegate rates start from £25 per person and £30 per person including hot buffet.

Day office rates start from £50, with daily room hire starting from £150.
