Iceland Travel launching new agent training platform

DMC Iceland Travel has joined forces with Travel Uni to launch a new travel agent training portal for the UK and North American markets.

The longest-established DMC in Iceland says the new training modules will hone agents’ selling skills and product knowledge through its guided and self-drive experiences.

The agent training portal goes live on 9 September.

The English version of the platform is tailored to agents in Canada, the UK and the US, and will expand this to France and Italy later

In collaboration with Travel Uni, the Iceland Travel Specialist Training course invites agents to discover resources to help them sell more Iceland Travel products.

It provides access to updated videos and webinars not currently available on the main website.

Upon completion of the course, agents will receive a certificate.

As part of the programme, users will be able to access brochures, maps and roadbooks all in English, French and Italian.

Iceland Travel offers 24-hour assistance, an Iceland Travel app with helpful information about the areas included in the tours and an easy-to-use self-drive calculator tool for tailored packages.
