iCoupon expands North America footprint with Flair Airlines voucher deal
Vouchering provider iCoupon has expanded further in North America, securing a deal with Canada’s Flair Airlines.
iCoupon will introduce digital meal vouchers across the Canadian carrier’s network.
Flair will adopt iCoupon’s software, which enables the airline to transfer meal vouchers directly to passengers’ boarding passes in the event of any flight disruption.
The partnership adds another North American partner to iCoupon’s ranks and follows the introduction of recent changes in Canadian passenger care legislation which tightens airlines obligations to passengers impacted by disruption.
Following a successful trial period in May, the contract inked between Flair and iCoupon is now live.
“By offering passengers easy-to-use vouchers we can make any disruptions more seamless, convenient, and flexible,” said Leena Lalli, Director of Customer Support at Flair Airlines.
“This partnership allows us to go beyond compliance with regulations and focus on creating a more positive experience for passengers.”
The move away from antiquated physical and wallet-based vouchering practices results in reduced labour and an improved passenger experience, iCoupon says.
Richard Bye, CEO of iCoupon, said, “We’re excited to welcome Flair Airlines and we appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with such an innovative airline.”
“We recognize the growing demand for technologies that streamline operations and enhance passenger support.”
