IndiGo rolls out NDC distribution via Amadeus
India’s largest airline, IndiGo, has inked a NDC distribution partnership with Amadeus.
It provides travel sellers in India and around the world with access to the airline’s NDC content via the Amadeus Travel Platform.
The NDC technology opens up new opportunities for airlines to distribute their content to travel sellers more efficiently with personalized retailing.
For corporate clients and travel agencies, NDC simplifies the booking process with direct access to IndiGo’s full range of fares and products.
It delivers the ability to offer exclusive deals and promotions tailored to individual traveller profiles.
IndiGo is able to build dynamically price-tailored offers.
Indigo is already live with NDC booking and servicing capabilities in UAE and Singapore, with other markets to follow.
Pieter Elbers, CEO, IndiGo, said, “IndiGo celebrated its 18th anniversary this year and introduced new products, including IndiGoStretch, and IndiGo BluChip.”:
This agreement with Amadeus will enable us to take our Distribution Strategy to the next level and provide travellers with our new products, on an even greater scale, in India and around the world.”
IndiGo has a fleet of over 350 aircraft, operating more than 2,000 daily flights
Last year, the carrier welcomed over 100 million passengers.
