IndiGo to launch Jakarta flights
India’s largest airline IndiGo will connect Mumbai with Indonesia’s capital Jakarta.
The new Indonesia flights launch on August 7.
IndiGo will be the first airline to directly connect Mumbai with Jakarta.
Jakarta flights will operate daily.
India has developed into a key source market for Indonesia tourism, especially to the predominantly Hindu island Bali.
“We are excited to unveil Jakarta flights among the newest destinations within our expanding international network,” said Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales.
“The opening of this new route will enable easy access and promotion of trade and tourism.”
IndiGo is on a big international expansion plan and has recently announced new flights to Nairobi, Tblisi, Georgia and more UAE services.
