Inspire My Holiday Trade Hub to add Fam trip content

Inspire My Holiday Trade Hub to boost the impact of FAM Trips through trade promotion
Inspire My Holiday Trade Hub is set to launch a new ‘Fam Trip Hub’ section on its dedicated B2B website.
It aims to host post-trip content, including video, for tourist boards, tour operators and accommodation providers.
The content will align with the Fam trip organiser’s main objectives and can include a detailed itinerary of the trip, suggested itineraries, insider tips from those attending the Fam trip, recommendations on restaurants/bars for clients and a list of trade partners.
Lockie Kerr, Head of Partnerships says there’s a gap in the market for harnessing the insights Fam trips give agents and amplifying them to a wider audience.
“For the organisers, Fam trips take a lot of planning and there’s a significant cost involved in running them, with the ultimate objective that attendees will make bookings upon returning”.
“The challenge is that the knowledge gained from a Fam trip is almost always ring-fenced within the travelling group and their work colleagues. With staff turnover, that knowledge can be quickly lost.”
Following on from the successful launch of their dedicated trade site in 2024, founder Olly Lomas added. “The Fam trips we feature will stay on our website indefinitely and will be promoted across all our marketing channels, including our agent database and social media.”
“We’re excited to promote the first wave of FAM trips in the coming months”.
