JTB Asia Pacific and Cvent sign strategic partnershuip
JTB Asia Pacific has tapped meetings and hospitality tech provider Cvent to enhance its MICE services to corporate clients across the region.
The ‘Platinum Partnership’ will see Cvent provide JTB with a comprehensive suite of event management solutions such as online registration, onsite badging and check-in, mobile event apps, and reporting.
The exclusive partnership lasts through 2020 and enables JTB to roll out three management solutions to the market, namely event management, MICE agency and lead agency.
It includes utilising Cvent’s full event management technology and sourcing venues.
The partnership spans the Asia Pacific region excluding China, Japan and Korea.
It strengthens the two companies’ already close collaboration following the formation of a partnership between JTB India and Cvent in 2014.
"At Cvent, we believe in transforming meetings and events, and JTB’s regional reach and local expertise will help us introduce our market-leading platform to new customers," said Sandeep Nagpal, vice president of Marketing at Cvent.
Services will be rolled out in phases starting this year in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand.
