KDS Corporate Growth Continues With Expension of Senior Management Team
Newly appointed executives to manage business development, expand travel & expense integration capabilities
London – Paris – 19 October 2006 – KDS, European leading supplier of on demand travel & expense, announced today the appointments of Annicka Lofstrand as Business Development Director EMEA and Gary Pyatt as Sales Manager.
Ms Lofstrand joins KDS from GetThere with over 15 years of experience in the international corporate travel industry, specializing in online travel procurement technology and business change management. Ms Lofstrand previously worked as Senior Business Development Manager at GetThere EMEA. Very active in the industry, Ms Lofstrand, serves as a member of the Association of Corporate Executives (ACTE), as well as the Institute of Travel Management (ITM) in the UK and the Swedish Business Travel Association (SBTA). Ms Lofstrand will be leading KDS re-seller and partner strategy, and growing the in-direct sales channel as part of the company’s on-going international business expansion.
Coming from Outtask/Concur, Mr Pyatt brings with him over 20 years of experience developing IT solutions as well as extensive background in travel and expense management. Mr Pyatt served as Sales Manager for Concur and held senior sales and product development positions at Outtask and IBM. He was the first employee of Outtask in the UK and was instrumental in building their business and winning the first customers; he was also involved in bringing to market the Outtask expense management product and so has an all round view of the online travel & expense market.
“KDS is delighted to welcome Annicka and Gary to our UK team, and we are confident their senior level expertise will help us to continue our expansion of strategic partnerships and direct sales across Europe and beyond,” said Stephane Donders, Senior Vice President of KDS. “The recent launch of KDS Corporate V6, which fully integrates travel & expense management, has awakened the industry to the potential benefits that creative, advanced thought and execution can bring to travelers and to corporation’s bottom line. The addition of our two new team members demonstrates another exciting step as we carry forward KDS’ momentum – and that of the business travel management industry as a whole.”
