Kids under four stay play and eat free at Club Med…………
Club Med says that in its quest to offer the world’s best family holidays, they have announced a new policy allowing children under the age of four to stay, play and eat free at any of its resorts worldwide from 1 November 2007.
Club Med general manager Heidi Kunkel says each of its family resorts provide exceptional children’s facilities and the new policy underlines Club Med’s strong commitment to families.
“At Club Med we provide for a family’s every need, from having kids clubs designed for children of different ages staffed by qualified childcare specialists right through to the adopted foods for kids in our restaurants,” Ms Kunkel said.
“Children are treated like VIPs at Club Med and we ensure that every step of the way they are entertained and well catered for so their parents can truly relax and enjoy their holiday.”
“We take the hassle out of family holidays by providing a Baby Welcome service for children under two, a Petit Club for those aged two and three, Mini Club Med for four to ten year olds and Juniors Club and Club Med Passworld for the older children and teenagers.”
“It enables the whole family to have a once in a lifetime experience.”
Club Med Baby Welcome is offered at all family resorts around the world for parents of children under the age of two, with the program designed to make it easier than ever for young parents to enjoy their vacation with a baby.
Club Med Baby Welcome provides guests with all the nursing equipment they will need, including highchairs, cots, push-chairs, potties and the option of flexible meal times.
Even babies have their own club with Baby Club Med featuring early learning and outdoor games supervised by Club Med qualified childcare professionals so parents can leave their child with complete peace of mind.
At Petit Club Med, children aged 2-3 are accompanied on nature walks, play outdoor games, eat lunch, have nap/ quiet time to recharge before enjoying more fun outdoor activities. In the evenings, kids can participate in quieter activities such as singing songs and story telling. An additional charge applies for Petit Club.
Mini Club Med is open to children from 4-10 years of age. The children participate in different themed activities to encourage movement, sports and creative skills in a group setting. There are exciting games, dress-up parties, make- up sessions and parades for every child to have fun. Workshops include circus acts such as juggling, monocycling, clown acts, rollerblading, and bungy bounce, where kids learn to bounce on a trampoline while supported on an elastic harness. Children 8 years and older can choose their own activities with the assistance and guidance of our trained staff.
Juniors’ Club Med and Club Med Passworld have been designed especially for teenagers. Away from their parents, teens will be able to enjoy freedom, creation and relaxation with their own group of new friends and Club Med’s G.Os.
Club Med’s latest great innovation is Club Med Passworld [now available at Cherating Beach and other selected resorts]: a teen concept designed by up-and-coming designer Sophie Jacqmin.
Understanding youth culture and trend Sophie has created a modern and funky designated space for teens to meet up and hang out. Club Med Passworld allows them to have some fun be it listening to music, taking part in singing, theatre or sound mixing classes, producing videos or creating pieces of jewellery!
The new Young Children’s Policy is valid for travel from 1st November 2007 and is subject to availability and subject to change without notification. Blackout dates may apply.
