Korean Air partners with Accelya
Korean Air has tapped airline software solutions provider Accelya to bolster its airline retailing capabilities.
It will deploy the Accelya’s FLX Platform.
The Accelya FLX Platform enabled more than half of all global New Distribution Capability (NDC) transactions in 2022, according to data from T2RL.
The platform leverages the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud and the latest advanced technologies.
Korean Air will integrate Accelya’s NDC as well as the FLX-Merchandizing module, to deliver personalised offers to customers.
Accelya’s NDC offering connects airlines with over 50,000 travel agents, OTAs and TMCs.
It delivers improved customer service and more ancillary sales.
“We are delighted to partner with Accelya to enable our retail vision and bring powerful innovation to the market for our customers,” said Yoo Tae Jung, Managing Vice President and NDC Platform Director at Korean Air.
