Malaysia Airlines scores global partnership with Manchester United
Malaysia Airlines has inked a strategic, multi-year partnership with Manchester United FC, becoming its Official Commercial Airline.
The Malaysian flag carrier will deliver co-branded marketing initiatives targeting United’s global fan base.
The airline also just announced the launch of flights to three new tourist destinations: Malé, Maldives, Da Nang, Vietnam and Chiang Mai, Thailand.
“With our Manchester United collaboration, the expansion of our network to three new routes, this sets the benchmark of exciting things,” said Captain Izham Ismail, MAG Group Managing Director.
Tickets are now on sale for the new routes.
The airline will commence daily flights to Male beginning 1 August 2024, and will fly daily to Da Nang from 24 September 2024.
Chiang Mai flights operate five times a week from 15 August 2024.
As a member of the oneworld alliance, Malaysia Airlines currently offers connectivity to more than 900 destinations globally.
