Midcounties’ new appointment to boost recruitment

Tuesday, 04 Jun, 2014 0

The Midcounties Co-operative has appointed Richard Simpson as governance and compliance manager for the travel group.

It was announced last week that Simpson was leaving his role as member and support and compliance manager at Thomas Cook Co-operative Travel.

Alistair Rowland, general manager of Midcounties Co-op Travel, said it put them in an even better position to grow and recruit new members.

Richard Simpson added: "I’m thrilled to be joining such an enthusiastic and focused team, particularly having worked with many of them before."

The Co-op Consortium was launched in 2012, attracting 26 members  in its first year and achieving turnover approaching £100million.
