NCL shakes up management team
Norwegian Cruise Line has promoted Francis Riley to the newly-created position of senior vice president, international.
The role will cover Norwegian and also the Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises brands which are now part of the group following its purchase of Prestige Cruises, completed this week.
Riley (pictured here) was previously Norwegian’s vice president and general manager international.
In his new position, Riley will be responsible for business development, marketing, and passenger services in all international (non-US) markets, including the UK, Continental Europe, Asia Pacific, Latin America, Middle East and Africa regions.
Riley will be relocating to the company’s Miami headquarters in order to oversee the global business, reporting to Andy Stuart, executive vice president of international for all three brands.
Meanwhile, Graham Sadler (pictured here) currently managing director of Regent Seven Sea Cruises for UK, will now become MD of the three combined brands for the UK.
He will oversee the UK business and have a presence in the offices located in London and Southampton.
Sadler has led the Regent Seven Seas UK office since 2001
Bernard Carter will remain responsible for Oceania’s UK and EU business, reporting into Sadler for UK business.
