NCL upgrades online training
NCL is inviting agents to enrol for the second term of its online training programme, NCLU.
The cruise line has gone live with a new course and learning tools designed to boost selling potential.
‘Meet the Fleet’ is the second course to be added to NCLU at www.nclu.co.uk, and aims to give agents the lowdown on each of NCL’s ships, with more detailed inside information such as samples of menus, daily programmes, and deck plans.
More than 1,500 agents have enrolled at NCLU, launched on 1 December, and almost 700 have successfully completed phase one of the training.
Agents who graduate from the second course will be entered into a draw to win a three-night Summer Getaway cruise in June travelling to Le Havre and Guernsey.
NCL UK general manager Stephen Park said: “Knowledge really is power and the more agents know about NCL the more equipped they will be to match consumer to cruise, and so will be more likely to make a sale.
“Customers will be spending cautiously this year so they need to know their holiday is absolutely right for them.â€
The website now has a ‘Latest News’ page, an ‘Audio Visual Library’ featuring a selection of NCL videos and a ‘Games Room’ where agents can play online bowling.
Students can also now download a personalised NCL certificate for every course they successfully complete, which can be used to claim ACE accreditation points.
Agents taking NCLU’s second course will also be able to register themselves for free ship visits taking place between May and September.
