New Florida resort set to open in Punta Gorda

Punta Gorda/Englewood Beach’s newest, and largest hotel is set to open its doors to visitors from 15 December 2023.

Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbour has 785 guest rooms including 189 top-tier luxury Sunsuites and will be the first completely new-build resort of this size to open in Southwest Florida in over thirteen years.

Located beside the Peace River and Gulf Coast, the Florida resort will feature 60,000-square-feet of meeting and conference space, 20 dining options and bars, two expansive pools, as well as retail outlets.

They are situated along a scenic harbourside promenade and set in over 22 waterfront acres.

A fitness centre and spa will be located on the third floor of the resort’s main tower.

In addition to its prime waterfront location, Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbour will feature an 18-hole golf course, Aileron Golf Club, which is exclusive to hotel guests.

Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbour is set to elevate the dining and beverage scene in Southwest Florida’s Gulf Coast.

Guests will be able to choose from a lineup of seven standalone restaurants, eleven bars and lounges, two poolside offerings and a 25,000-square-feet food hall.

The eleven bar and lounge areas at the Florida resort showcase a selection of international fine wines, modern cocktails, local beer and cocktails.

The resort is conveniently located just ten minutes from Punta Gorda airport and within a short drive of Tampa airport.

Punta Gorda/Engelwood Beach offers a host of outdoor experiences with a laid-back lifestyle.

Visitors can partake in boating, fishing, golfing, exploring nature plus relaxation and adventure.
