New Orleans gears up for a spooky, Swiftie weekend
New Orleans is gearing up for a banner weekend as it welcomes Taylor Swift for three sold out shows at the Ceasars Superdome.
It coincides with an already hugely popular Halloween weekend.
New Orleans’ infamous spooky heritage adds to the experience for visiting Swifties.
More than 150,000 fans will attend the shows.
As of a week ago, hotel rooms in the city were sold out for the nights of the 25 and 26 and rooms were nearly 80% sold for the 27.
Swifties not only bring big business to New Orleans hotels, but also help fill restaurants, bars, and other attractions.
Many businesses have created their own themed experiences like themed lunches and dinner, as well as specia cocktails.
“What other city can say it will host Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour for three nights, the Super Bowl and Mardi Gras all in a matter of six months?” said Walter Leger III, President and CEO of New Orleans & Company.
“We thrive on hosting big events will create a one-of-a-kind experience that Taylor’s fans will remember for a lifetime.”

New Orleans & Company is also offering two Swifties a chance to win a Taylor-inspired trip to New Orleans. Register at https://www.neworleans.com/taylorsweeps/ until Friday, November 1 at 2 pm CDT.
The winner will receive a prize package that includes three nights at the Hotel Saint Vincent in 2025, where Taylor Swift stayed on previous visits to New Orleans, $800 travel spending Visa gift card and dinner or lunch for two at Saba, reportedly one of Taylor Swift’s go-to restaurants when in New Orleans
