Escorted tours specialist Newmarket Holidays is adding to its portfolio of tours across the pond.

It is bolstering its popular US tours collection with three new options including one devoted to America’s iconic national parks.

Memphis, Nashville & Elvis Presley’s Gulf Coast Beach Retreat spans 14 days, and explores the rich musical heritage of Tennessee before unwinding on the Mississippi coast.

It starts at the famous Chattanooga Choo-Choo Hotel before delving into Nashville’s country music scene, with optional visits to RCA Studio B and the Country Music Hall of Fame.

In Memphis, Beale Street’s blues and Graceland pay tribute to Elvis. The tour changes pace in New Orleans, with a steamboat dinner jazz cruise before concluding in Ocean Springs, where Elvis himself liked to holiday. Optional excursions include a shrimping trip in Biloxi or an airboat ride at Gulf Coast Gator Ranch. Prices from £2,610 per person, saving 15% until 15 March.

The Blue Ridge Mountains, Washington DC, Charleston & Savannah explores America’s South over 11 days. It starts with a guided tour of Washington D.C., and then to the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive, for incredible panoramic views.

It visits Charlottesville and the historic colonial settlements of Williamsburg and Jamestown.

Visits to Charleston and Savannah offer glimpses at the antebellum architecture and iconic oak-lined streets. Prices from £2,465 per person, saving 15% until 15 March.

Also new is America’s Great National Parks, a 12-day tour through the diverse landscapes of the southwestern United States. Starting in the glamorous desert resort of Palm Springs, the tour heads to the unique Joshua Tree National Park, with the option of a thrilling Jeep ride through Sedona’s red rock formations in Coconino National Forest.

The itinerary includes awe-inspiring visits to the Grand Canyon and Monument Valley, with optional helicopter sightseeing. The journey also explores the dramatic terrain of Canyonlands and Arches National Park.

The US tour ends in Colorado at Glenwood Springs and Denver. Prices from £3,240 per person, saving 15% until 15 March.

Customers also have the option to add a two-day train journey on the legendary Rocky Mountaineer, venturing across the ‘Rockies to the Red Rocks’ rail route from Moab to Denver. Prices start from £4,998pp, including a 15% discount available until 15 March.

Verity Rice, Product Director said: “Each of these US tours brings something new to the Newmarket Holidays portfolio for agents, making our already popular US collection even more compelling.”
