Norse Atlantic Airways has celebrated the launch of nonstop Athens flights to New York JFK.

Norse Atlantic is operating flights up to five times a week on Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft during the summer season.

“We are excited to introduce this new direct service, offering travellers a convenient and efficient way to travel between Athens and New York,” the airline said.

The airline offers two cabin choices: Economy and Norse Premium.

It has a choice of Light, Classic and Flextra fares, with the latter offering the maximum baggage allowance, two meal services and increased ticket flexibility.

Ioanna Papadopoulou, Director, Communications & Marketing at Athens Airport, said: “This development offers an excellent airline product and enhances Athens’ connectivity to the US, a market which currently ranks at the top among our most important markets.”

Norse Atlantic operates an all Dreamliner fleet.

The Norse Premium cabin offers a 43” seat pitch and 12” recline.
