Not Just Travel launches virtual supplier event

Sunday, 20 Oct, 2020 0

Travel agency franchise Not Just Travel has created a virtual Supplier Partner event for hoteliers, tour operators, tourist boards and suppliers to showcase their 2021 products.

The event will take place on 5 November and will be free to attend for all Not Just Travel’s trade partners.

The franchise said the event had evolved out of two previous events: its first face-to-face event for trade partners held in January and its travel consultant virtual conference in September.

In a joint statement, Not Just Travel co-founders Steve Witt and Paul Harrison said: "This will be a chance for our travel partners and potential trade partners to learn about what we do, how we have been innovating, developing and growing through the challenging times of 2020 and what we have planned for an industry-beating 2021.

"It’s an education for them to learn more about how we can work closer together and grow together."

During the pandemic, Not Just Travel said it has seen an increasing number of homeworkers join its business.

Chief Business Development Officer Cherie Richards added: "Compared to what other companies are reporting, our holiday sales are very strong, which is another reason we are reaching out to trade partners to offer help and support to their sales.

"We have seen how keen suppliers are to work closer with homeworking travel agents and we want our travel consultants to be at the forefront of that opportunity.

"We have so many trade partners wanting to work with us right now and benefit from our strong sales, we felt that a Supplier Partner virtual event would be hugely beneficial to everyone and so, we are delighted to be bringing this to the Industry on November 5th."
