Oceania Cruises has revealed the inaugural itineraries for its newest ship, Oceania Aurelia, debuting in late 2027 with an ambitious lineup that includes two 180-day Around the World cruises for 2028 and 2029, alongside two extended Grand Voyages of more than 70 days each.
The sailings are now available for preview online, with reservations opening May 13, 2026. The launch marks the first time the cruise line has released two world cruises simultaneously.
Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer of Oceania Cruises, said Aurelia was purpose-built for immersive, extended global exploration. He added that the itineraries are designed for travelers seeking elegant comfort, longer stays ashore and deeper cultural discovery in both iconic and lesser-known destinations.
Carrying fewer than 500 guests with a crew of 400, Oceania Aurelia will offer an intimate, residential-style atmosphere tailored for long-haul luxury travel.
Highlights of the Around the World voyages include overnight stays in destinations such as Papeete, Bora Bora, Sydney, Tokyo, Singapore, Mumbai, Seville and Bordeaux, giving guests additional time for in-depth exploration.
Select Mid-Cruise Overland Programs will also provide access to landmark experiences including Machu Picchu, Petra and the Taj Mahal. Nearly 100 UNESCO World Heritage sites will be accessible across the itineraries.
Guests on the 2028 world cruise will also attend the official christening ceremony for Oceania Aurelia in Miami before the ship departs on its maiden global journey.
