Blue Lagoon Cruises has launched a highly motivational, performance-based online agents accreditation scheme offering consultants the opportunity to ‘earn’ their way to a wide range of the company’s products while at the same time increasing their Fiji business.
According to Blue Lagoon Cruises, Director of Commercial Operations, Scott Forrest, the new accreditation scheme will provide agents with the specialised tools they need to sell the boutique island cruising specialist’s products.
“The knowledge they will gain from completing the agents’ accreditation program will provide consultants with everything they need to know to effectively sell the destination, small ship cruising and Blue Lagoon Cruises to their customers.
“Not only does this act as a catalyst for future business growth, agents joining the scheme also stand to profit from a number of benefits.
“These include access to a special $50 per person per day agents’ famil meal rate which is all agents will pay for all five meals onboard during any formally recognised famil programme.
“Accredited agents also have the opportunity to bring their ‘significant other’ on board at the same $50 rate,” he said.
Adding to this, every time they make a booking, agents will also accumulate ‘points’ towards a free Blue Lagoon Cruise for themselves and a partner, the online nature of the scheme allowing us to regularly update agents with email ‘points tallies’ as they get nearer to ‘winning’ their cruise.
Registering and participating in the scheme is extremely easy – agents simply need to log on to www.bluelagooncruises.com/AgentsArea and register their name and agency details.
Once this has been done they will then be able to access a series of six modules containing information relating to various areas of Fiji and Blue Lagoon Cruises, followed by a question and answer section.
Agents then can complete each module’s Q&A section separately which once complete will be sent on to Blue Lagoon Cruises’ Australia-based regional sales manager who will review the answers and ‘award’ a personalised accreditation certificate to those agents successfully passing more with a mark of more than 75 per cent.
“We have deliberately made the Q&A a little challenging as the average retail consultant will win a cruise for themselves and a partner after making 10 bookings.
“This also applies to wholesale consultants who will win a cruise after making about 20 bookings,” Mr. Forrest said.
As part of the Accreditation Programme launch, Blue Lagoon Cruises is also offering agents the chance to win a seven-day/six-night ‘Gold Club’ Yasawa Islands cruise valued at over $3,000, awarding the prize to the first consultant to successfully complete the online questionnaire in Australia.
All runners-up will go in the draw to win another seven-day/six-night ‘Gold Club’ cruise.
