In a packed Ogilvy boardroom overlooking London, representatives from organizations including ABTA, Thomas Cook, TUI, the Spanish Ministry of Tourism, Cape Town Tourism, Six Senses, Discover, Capela Travel Training, Travel Matters, and Change for Tomorrrow listened to gripping presentations from Prof Geoffrey Lipman and Kathleen Enright, head of Ogilvy Earth London.
The first presentation was by Professor Geoffrey Lipman – MD of Beyond Tourism, Director of Greenearth.travel, former Assistant Secretary General UNWTO, former President WTTC and Executive Director IATA, Vice Chair of the World Economic Forum’s GAC for Aviation, Travel & Tourism
“Green Growth, Travelism, and the Pursuit of Happiness” started the masterclass in a truly inspiring way – outlining the current situation and the opportunities that lie ahead.
The second presentation was by Kathleen Enright .The lead of the OgilvyEarth London practice identified smarter ways to do more with less. How to use sustainability to drive brand value, achieve long-term growth and increase profits. She also exploded a number of myths about print, production and social media.
The group discussion that followed was both heated and very productive.
