Philippine Airlines (PAL) will launch a new US route later this year.

New nonstop Seattle flights from its Manila hub begin from 2 October 2024.

Seattle-Manila flights will operate three times a week, every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

PAL is the first airline to connect the Philippines and the US Pacific Northwest

Nearly one million Americans visit the island nation annually and is the Philippines’ second largest source market for tourists.

There are about 240,000 Filipino Americans residing in the states of Washington and Oregon.

“We are proud to welcome Seattle to our growing US route network,” said PAL President, Captain Stanley K. Ng.

“Our Manila-Seattle-Manila flights give us a valuable opportunity to promote our flourishing tourist and business destination for American travelers.”

US travelers can connect via Manila to a host of domestic and regional flights, including Cebu, Bangkok, Singapore and Hong Kong.

As well as these new Seattle flights, PAL flies to San Francisco, LAX, New York, Honolulu and Guam.

The airline is offering an introductory all-in roundtrip fare starting at $799 for Economy Class, available to book until 30 April 2024.
