Pleasant Holidays reorganizes sales team leadership
Pleasant Holidays and luxury sister brand Journese announced the promotion of Chanda Vudmaska, a 33-year veteran of Pleasant Holidays, to Staff Vice President of Sales. Â
It is part of an overall reorganization of the brands’ combined sales team.
In addition, Steven Perry has been promoted to Manager of National Accounts and Training, and the company has hired two new Business Development Managers (BDMs).
“Chanda brings extensive knowledge and commitment to the Pleasant Holidays and Journese brands, and Steven has utilized his travel industry product knowledge to develop a vast trove of knowledge,” said Jack E. Richards, President and CEO.
“We are delighted to see them flourish and achieve success in these new roles.”
Vudmaska will have responsibility for the sales team including BDMs across the US, inside sales support, national accounts and sales training.
Her focus will be on strategic sales initiatives, new business acquisition and revenue growth.
A nine-year veteran of Pleasant Holidays and Journese, Perry has led the company’s Travel Advisor training programs for the past six years including Pleasant Pro Academy with more than 9,000 graduates.
While continuing in this role, Perry will drive sales growth of the company’s national consortia and strategic travel agency accounts.
Recently, Pleasant Holidays and Journese also added two new BDMs:
Natalia Pirumyan is Business Development Manager for the Southern California Region, covering Los Angeles, Malibu, Pasadena, Glendale, Bakersfield, Bishop, Arcadia and Alhambra, along with Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties.
Lydia Torres is Business Development Manager, Southern California Region, covering the territory encompassing San Diego County and the Inland Empire counties of Riverside and San Bernardino.
