P&O Cruises welcomes new cruise ship Arvia

P&O Cruises has taken ownership of new cruise ship Arvia.

Similar to sister ship Iona, it is the largest cruise ship ever built for the UK market.

Arvia is P&O Cruises’ second ship to be powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG), the marine industry’s most advanced fuel tech to date. .

P&O Cruises president, Paul Ludlow said:”Arvia is a very evident symbol of optimism for the future of the cruise industry.”

“We are focused on readying her to welcome guests for the maiden cruise before departure to the Caribbean.”

P&O Cruises newest cruise will be officially named in Barbados.
