Prime says new base makes air, car and hotel spending far easier
Prime Numbers Technology Inc. says it has released the most comprehensive real-time travel database ever to provide benchmarking services to travel management companies and corporate travel departments.
“With the release version 1.1, Travel GPA provides more in-depth, real-time industry benchmarking utilizing advanced patent pending algorithms to produce the Travel GPA Report Card based on user defined goals and metrics,” the company says.
Travel GPA has added several new metrics in version 1.1 that include a number of preferred contracts by category of air, car and hotel; contract compliance measurement; and a carbon foot print gauge based upon number or airline miles flown.
Since August of 2007, several companies have participated in the beta test of Travel GPA. “These agencies have provided aggregate travel data on hundreds of corporations to build the foundation of the benchmarking database, now at nearly $4 billion in annual travel spend, and have offered valuable feedback to make Travel GPA more useful for their companies,” the company says.
“All of these new features were added at the request of our clients,” said Rock Blanco, President of Prime Numbers Technology, Inc. He added:
“Competitive information is powerful and our partners told us that they needed to know how they ranked against their peers in terms of total contracts as well as their environmental impact, version 1.1 provides this information in an easy to use format.”
