Princess Cruises unveils new family activity zone
Princess Cruises has unveiled a new family activity zone for its newest ship.
Park19 will debut on Sun Princess when vessel launches in February 2024.
Located on the top decks, Park19 features nine activities for all the family.
Princess describes it as the most engaging family activity zone ever featured on a Princess cruise ship.
It features the first Rollglider on a cruise ship, called Sea Breeze, a climbing structure and an observation deck with 360º views.
There is also a hammock area and splash zone.
“This new space is created for all our guests, including activities to bring together multi-generational travel families in a location with spectacular views,” said John Padgett, Princess Cruises president.
“The new area was tailored based on guest feedback for more family and group activities spaces.”
It is located on decks 19, 20, and 21.
Additional family-centric offerings onboard Sun Princess are found in the Youth & Teen Centres located on decks six and seven.
They include Firefly Park for the youngest Princess guests, and Neon Grove.
“These expanded offerings give younger cruisers plenty to explore and enjoy,” Padgett added.
Sun Princess is a MedallionClass ship for families stay connected onboard via the OceanCompass shipmate locator and chat feature.
The 4,300-guest Sun Princess will offer an array of new dining, entertainment, and activity offerings.
