Qatar Airways adding eighth daily London Heathrow flight
Gulf carrier Qatar Airways is set to add an eighth daily Heathrow flight thanks to continued strong passenger demand.
It is part of a series of capacity increases to major cities and holiday destinations including Miami, Tokyo and the Maldives.
Starting 27 October 2024, Qatar Airways’ Heathrow flights will increase from 49 to 56 weekly flights
It adds up to more than 42,000 seats per week each way.
Along with the two daily flights operated by joint business partner, British Airways, there will be 10 daily flights between London Heathrow and Doha
Also, Qatar Airways will serve Male with up to 28 weekly flights, Miami with up to 12 weekly flights, and Tokyo with 11 weekly flights during the peak 2024-2025 winter season
Qatar Airways Chief Commercial Officer, Thierry Antinori, said: “Our increased flights during the winter holiday season comes as a response to the needs of our passengers.”
“Qatar Airways’ is strengthening its commitment to the UK and reinforcing our long-standing relationship with London Heathrow, as well as our unique strategic alliance with British Airways.”
