Qatar Airways is boosting its Africa flight network with new Kinshasa flights to the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The addition of Kinshasa increases the number of destinations in Africa served by the airline to 29.

The latest network expansion opens up a new entry point for international travel from Africa to China, Europe and India via Doha.

Starting from 1 June 2024, Luanda, Angola will see a frequency increase from one weekly flight to four weekly flights combined with the new Kinshasa flights.

This new route will be served by a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, featuring 22 Business Class seats and 232 in Economy Class.

Qatar Airways Chief Commercial Officer, Thierry Antinori, said: “We have seen significant milestones in our 2024 network expansion and this latest addition continues our goal of increasing our Africa footprint.”

Qatar Airways Privilege Club members will collect Avios on the Kinshasa flights and can pay for flights with a combination of cash and Avios.
