Qatar Airways partners with Asian Football Confederation
Qatar Airways hopes to score in a new partnership with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
They have signed a global partnership to enhance the fan experience at Asian football tournaments in the coming years.
The partnership will run from 2023 to 2029.
This covers the AFC Asian Cup Qatar which kicks off on 12 January.
It also includes the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027, AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026, AFC U23 Asian Cup Qatar 2024 and all AFC youth national team competitions during the period.
The sports sponsorship also includes all matches of the AFC Champions League 2023/24 Knockout Stage and AFC flagship club competitions which will take place from the 2024/25 season.
These are the AFC Champions League Elite, AFC Women’s Champions League and the AFC Champions League 2.
Qatar Airways Holidays is launching football packages for global fans to attend the AFC Asian Cup Qatar.
Football packages comprise return flights, hotels, and match tickets.
Privilege Club members can collect Avios and Qpoints on these travel packages, with the option to book online using Cash + Avios.

The partnership adds to Qatar Airways Group’s long roster of sports sponsorship deals.

AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 will take place from 12 January to 10 February 2024.
