Qatar Airways renews UEFA partnership
As the Euros kicked off in Germany, Qatar Airways has renewed its long-standing collaboration with European football body UEFA.
It has expanded its sports sponsorship portfolio as Official Airline Partner of the UEFA mens national team competitions
Euro 2024 runs through 14 July, with the final being held in Berlin.
There are 51 matches across 10 cities in Germany, during which 2.5 million guests and fans are expected.
Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer said: “We are delighted to partner with UEFA. As Official Airline Partner, Qatar Airways is committed to bringing thousands of fans to Germany.
“With the addition of Hamburg to our operations from 1 July 2024, we are further enhancing our commitment to the region.”
Qatar Airways will then offer flights to five destinations in Germany and 49 cities across Europe.
Qatar Airways as an extensive portfolio of sports sponsorship deals.
This includes as the Official Airline of Formula 1, FIFA, The Asian Football Confederation, and team sponsorships of Paris-Saint Germain (PSG), Inter Milan, The Royal Challengers Bangalore and the Brooklyn Nets NBA Team.
