Qatar Airways unveils summer flights to Tashkent, Uzbekistan
Qatar Airways announced the latest addition to its summer schedule, launching four weekly flights to Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Tashkent flights kick off on 2 June 2024 and reservations are open now.
The Uzbekistan capital is the second city served by Qatar Airways in Central Asian after Almaty, Kazakhstan.
The Tashkent flights are served Airbus A320 aircraft.
Qatar Airways Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Thierry Antinori, said: “The launch of the new route to Tashkent is a testament to our commitment to continuously growing our network.”
“We look forward to future opportunities of growth in Central Asia.”
Uzbekistan is famed for the historic cities of Samarkand and Bukhara while Tashkent’s connectivity to Central Asia offers easy access to several other Central Asian nations.
