A short domestic flight has just become the most tracked in history.

It was of course Queen Elizabeth’s final flight from Edinburgh to London.

Nearly five million people tracked the flight online, website Flightradar24 said.

Another 250,000 people watched the flight’s progress on its YouTube channel.

Flightradar24 said about six million people tried to track it within the first minute of takeoff, which nearly overloaded the platform.

The Queen’s casket is now in London which will lie in to state until her funeral on September 19.
