Riviera Travel launches agent-exclusive home transfer offer
Riviera Travel announced it will make a £150 contribution towards its door-to-door pickup service for 2023 European river cruise bookings.
It applies to all European river cruise itineraries of seven nights or more.
The offer is exclusively available to travel agent partners and is available from July 3-31, on river cruise bookings made through Riviera.
It can be applied to itineraries including the Seine, Rhone, Rhine, Danube and Douro.
The transfer service allows guests to go directly from their UK pick-up point, to a departure airport or airport hotel, via private car.
It forms part of a wider service exclusively available to Riviera’s river cruise and UK escorted tour guests, which launched earlier this year.
The service provides additional optional extras including a choice of more regional airports and pre- or post-cruise hotel stays.
Riviera has re-introduced its peaks trade incentive, whereby all travel agents making a river cruise or escorted tour booking are automatically entered into a weekly prize draw.
They can win an iPad 128GB pro, worth £899.
A weekly winner will be selected at random throughout July.
Tom Morgan, head of trade said: “The optional extra services we launched had excellent feedback from agents.”
“We wanted to introduce an offer which is trade-exclusive to further encourage interest and take-up.”
Home transfers have proved particularly popular, so we’re making a sizable contribution to aid sales.”
