Malaysian hybrid carrier Malindo Air has agreed a deal to add its fares and ancillary content to the Sabre distribution network.
Malindo fares are now available to 100,000 Sabre connected agents.
This includes ticketing on the 40 domestic and short haul international routes of the airline, which is a joint venture between Malaysia’s National Aerospace Industries and private Indonesian carrier Lion Air.
"This region’s Sabre-connected travel agents appreciate Malindo Air’s increasing choice of low cost and premium service options," said Hans Belle, Sabre Travel Network Asia Pacific vice president for supplier commerce and strategic partnerships.
"They are now able to access the region’s extensive travel agency community which will stimulate demand for this ambitious carrier. We are delighted to be their partner of choice and wish them every success with their expansion plans."
Established less than three years ago, Malindo is one of the fastest growing carriers in Southeast Asia and plans new routes to southern China and Jeddah in early 2016.
