SeaDream to accept bookings in euros

Thursday, 11 Apr, 2008 0

SeaDream Yacht Club is to offer pricing in euros for new bookings made in Continental Europe and Scandinavia from Monday.

Bookings made in the UK will continue to be made using US dollar pricing.

Commissions on sales by travel agents will be specific to the location of the seller, euros on the Continent and US dollars elsewhere.

SeaDream’s UK senior director Ian Buckeridge described the change as “a matter of convenience” for European passengers who make up around 16% of total business.

“It simply makes sense for us to be more user-friendly to guests from the Continent and helps avoid the necessity for constant currency conversion,” he said.
