SIA Group passenger traffic, load factor boost
The two carriers of Singapore Airlines Group continued with strong passenger traffic and load factors across all regions in July.
The Group’s passenger capacity during the month was 28% higher year-on-year.
SIA and Scoot carried a combined three million passengers, up 45.1%.
The Group passenger load factor (PLF) was up slightly at 89.8%.
Individually, budget airline brand Scoot’s PLF was 92.7%, marking its eighth consecutive month above 90%.
Scoot resumed more Asia flights to Jinan and Shenzhen in July, although flights to Gold Coast were suspended.
As of the end of July 2023, the Group’s combined passenger network spanned 117 destinations in 36 countries and territories.
SIA served 74 destinations, while Scoot’s was up to 66 cities.
