SO/ Maldives now open
SO/ Maldives, one of the island nation’s most eagerly awaited new resorts is now open.
It began accepting guests earlier this month, and is just 15 minutes by speedboat from Malé.
It enjoys a prime position at Emboodhoo Lagoon within the landmark multi-island destination of CROSSROADS Maldives.
SO/ Maldives is inviting travellers to experience a new tropical island vibe with The Castaway Escape at SO/ Maldives.
For bookings before 30 November 2023, guests enjoy savings of 20% for a stay of three nights or more. For longer stays of 14 nights or more, savings of up to 35% can be had.
The offer is valid for stays between 15 November 2023 and 30 June 2024.
Between 15 November and 31 December 2023, guests staying for three nights or more will receive a resort credit of US$100 per day for one-bedroom villas, and US$200 per day for two- and three-bedroom villas.
Guests booked for a minimum of seven nights receive free roundtrip speedboat transfers.
The Maldives resort accommodations have access to a stretch of white-sand beach or are perched on stilts above the lagoon.
The individually designed villas are designed to maximise guests’ privacy.
They have been designed by pooling the creative talents of leading artists and fashion designers and will appeal to couples, friends, and families alike.
In a departure from the usual all-day dining buffet concept, SO/ Maldives offers three innovative restaurant and bar options.
These comprise Pan-Asian inspired flavours, Levantine cuisine at Hadaba, and the laid-back Lazuli Beach Club, a beach bar and lounge influenced by the Cote D’Azur.
DJ tunes and a cultural programme brings together fashion, music, art, and design.
The Maldives resort also houses the Nest kids’ club filled with games, and activities, while teens have their own dedicated space, the Zone.
The SO/ Maldives Wellness Camp features specialist treatment rooms, a hammam, steam rooms and a fully-equipped gym.
There is also a watersports centre located at the beach.
Prices start at US$900+++ per night
