BIT – Borsa Internazionale del Turismo (International Tourism Exchange) will present three days of refresher courses, discussions and training on the sector’s most topical issues.

Italy’s first worldwide product marketplace takes place from 4 to 6 February 2024 at the Allianz MiCo, in the heart of Milan.

The event has a multi-target B2B and B2C format, and will be divided into three sectors: Leisure, Tech and MICE Village.

In addition to Italian regional operators, there are also many overseas participants, confirming BIT as a prominent international trade fair.

While Italians represent an important part of outbound tourism, Italy is also one of the most attractive destinations for international inbound travellers.

Around two million China nationals are expected to visit Italy by the end of this year.

On the MICE front, the presence of MINOR Hotels, owner of the NH Hotels brand, has been confirmed.

Gardaland, a leader in the amusement park sector, MSC Crociere, ITA Airways and Fly Dubai are attending along with associations ASTOI and FTO.

BIT2024 will also be an opportunity for Italian and international organisations, associations, professionals, and consumers to discover the wonders of Italy and the world.

In addition, the Bringing Innovation Into Travel format is a programme of conferences organised according to three main themes – trends, innovation and sustainability with the support of Business International.

Panel discussions will include new tech, artificial intelligence, new ways of travelling – from Bleisure to wellness travel, overtourism and more.

Wanderlust will be one of the main focus discussions where CEOs and industry experts will discuss current and future trends in tourism, including sustainable and accessible travel.
