STA Travel opens doors on first new-look branch
STA Travel has opened its first new look branch and a re-designed website as part of a rebranding exercise.
The first revamped outlet in Sheffield includes self serve interactive consoles enabling customers to browse online before speaking to a travel specialist.
Embedded globes at all consultation tables aim to make the trip planning process more interesting.
Other interactive features include the ‘Know it Wall’, a colour coded world map that allows customers to collate information and knowledge about their preferred destination and a 24 hour digital price board which is constantly updated with the best world travel offers.
The re-brand is designed to appeal to a wider audience and position STA Travel as a global travel expert providing unique experiences for everyone.
The website includes new interactive features to help travellers make informed decisions about their trips and adventures.
This includes the integration of social network content from STA travellers, currently housed on www.statravelbuzz.co.uk , destination content written by STA specialists who have independent, first hand knowledge of the wide range of travel experiences available and enhanced user interactivity and site navigation.
Other online features to be introduced will include user generated reviews allowing travellers to add and augment their own experiences.
The company’s managing director John Constable said: “The re-brand of STA Travel is designed to attract a wider audience and create an experience that is entirely relevant to what our customers want.
“By visualising the travel experience and providing specialist knowledge and expertise we can help our customers make informed decisions and get the best out of their trip.
“The opening of our new look Sheffield branch and the unveiling of our website is the first stage in the roll out of STA Travel’s global brand re-launch.”
