Sunvil launches live weekly webinars

Saturday, 01 Jun, 2020 0

Sunvil is inviting travel agents to register for its new weekly webinar events, which start this Tuesday.

Each 45-minute webinar takes place at 12 noon on Tuesdays, with key product experts at the specialist company. The webinars will also be recorded so agents can watch or rewatch later.

In June, the seminars will range from the nine islands of the Azores to Northern Norway, and from key Latin American destinations to Greece (both the Greek Peloponnese/mainland and the 57 Greek islands offered by Sunvil).

Going forward into July, and beyond, the entire Sunvil holiday portfolio will be showcased by its expert team.

The first seminar, to be held on Tuesday June 2, will be hosted by trade sales manager Sophie Fayle.

She said her overview of Sunvil and its in-depth holiday options will ‘dispel myths about our brand and open your eyes to the breadth of trips we offer’.

"From beach holidays away from the crowds to agriturismo breaks in the countryside, to island-hopping amidst lesser-known island gems, to activity holidays (walking and hiking little-known paths), to multi-country trips (unknown parts of Spain & Portugal, for example), these are the perfect options post-Covid, all tried and tested by the Sunvil team which works with our travel trade partners day in, day out," she added.

Sunvil’s expert programme for June is as follows:

Tuesday June 2: Overview of Sunvil and its wide range of holidays off the beaten track by Sophie Fayle, trade sales manager

Tuesday June 9: The nine islands of the mid-Atlantic Azores (the western-most part of Portugal) by Sue John, who has visited the Azores no less than 22 times and is hugely knowledgeable about each island; Sue can answer most, if not all, queries that travel agents may have on behalf of their clients.

Tuesday June 16: Svalbard, Northern Norway, by Michelle Vincent, who was both surprised and delighted by this remote and fascinating destination on her recent trip there.

Tuesday June 23: Latin America by Lloyd Boutcher, MD of Sunvil Latin America, who launched Sunvil’s Costa Rica programme 30 years ago and who has continued to explore the huge destination with relish ever since; Sunvil now offers 13 destinations across Central and South America, plus Antarctica.

Tuesday June 30: Greece and its islands by Dudley der Parthog, director of Greece, who spends many months each year exploring Greece, finding new gems for Sunvil’s keen Grecophiles and checking that the company’s high standards are maintained; Dudley can answer most, if not all, queries on Greece and is passionate about the destination and the Greek way of life.

Register for the June 2 webinar here.

To register for future webinars, email Sophie ([email protected]) – she will send out sign-up forms each week.
