Superbreak makes brochures accessible online
Short break operator Superbreak is to offer online accessible brochures on its website.
The move is designed to ensure that travel agents always have the latest brochures available on the internet, according to the company.
The main Superbreak UK brochure, plus their Summer Offers booklet, are available to view with the company’s other brochures to be added during the year.
Pages are free-to-view and can be accessed and printed from written descriptions to photographs and small print. To ensure the technology remains open to the majority of agents – a current blight on other online travel brochure services, the company claims – all details can be quickly obtained via broadband or dial-up connection.
Users can search by holiday category, destination or hotel without the need for downloads or additional software, the company claims. Superbreak is utilising the technology of www.onlinetravelbrochures.com to make brochures available at www.superbreak.com/agents.
Marketing manager Andrew Talbot said: “Online accessible travel brochures are a logical progression for the marketplace and can address environmental or financial concerns without affecting service. We are delighted to be a leading player here. We want to present our product information for agents to access in whatever format they prefer.”
Paul Green, managing director of www.onlinetravelbrochures.com, added: “For the technology to be embraced, travel agents must be comfortable with the idea. The brochures on the site are identical to those on the shelves and the technology is easy to use.”
