Thai Airways International is ramping up its international network for the Winter 2026/27 season, adding flights across Europe while restoring service to Xiamen for the first time since the pandemic.
The Thai national carrier is boosting frequencies to several major business and leisure destinations beginning in late October 2026.
Europe features prominently in the winter expansion. Paris-CDG will see a second daily nonstop flight from December 1, operated by a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner alongside the existing Boeing 777 service.
Munich will increase from daily to 10 weekly flights from December 16, while Zurich will expand from seven to 11 weekly flights beginning January 16, 2027. The additional European services will also be operated by the Boeing 787-9.
Outside Europe, Thai is actively expanding to India, the biggest beneficiary of its winter network expansion. The airline will increase Bangkok–Delhi service from 22 to 28 weekly flights starting October 25, offering four daily departures. The airline will also add extra frequencies to Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata, with most of the new services operated by its new Airbus A321neo fleet.
In Southeast Asia, Thai will also boost frequencies to Kuala Lumpur, Manila and Penang. Last but not least, the carrier is also returning to Xiamen, China, with four weekly Airbus A321neo flights from October 25. The route was suspended since 2020.
