The Mole talks to the international buyers at Dreamtime – their view of Australia

Thursday, 06 Nov, 2006 0

I am very blessed to be here, because Australia is part of my dream and vision for the Company which is 2 years old, but I have 16 years of experience in all aspects of the travel industry.

The objective of our Company is to provide World Class and leading edge events that really pack a wallop and are at the cutting edge of creativity.

We take a unique and new approach and believe that you can organise a great event irrespective of budget, because we believe that creativity is the key.

Our clients include Nestle, Mitsubishi, EnCna and TIME Inc, where we organised their post Academy Awards events and pay such attention to detail because we want to fulfil our clients’ dreams.

We also organise social events, even weddings and recently organised a wedding that cost $US500,000!

The business is doing well and the key to that is that we have no employees as we sub-contract specialist people as we want and need them.

Australia is a key part of our future vision because it offers fabulous inventive location and concepts that we can take to our top end clients.  Australia is also so popular in the US at the moment, but the only down sides are the distance and the impact that has on time availability.

I just realised that I have used “we” throughout this chat, but in reality Azure Pacific is me and I believe in thinking and dreaming big, we are even working at the moment on developing a lifestyle television show for the gay and lesbian markets, now that will be big!

Azure Pacific’s web site address is www.azurepacificevents.com

Report by The Mole on location in Dreamtime, the Gold Coast, Queensland.
